On Anisotropic Dark Energy

چکیده
Since the discovery of the accelerated expansion of the universe, it was necessary to introduce a new component of matter distribution called dark energy. The standard cosmological model considers isotropy of the pressure and assumes an equation of state p = ωρ, relating the pressure p and the energy density ρ. The interval of the parameter ω defines the kind of matter of the universe, related to the fulfillment, or not, of the energy conditions of the fluid. The recent interest in this kind of fluid with anisotropic pressure, in the scenario of the gravitational collapse and star formation, imposes a carefull analysis of the energy conditions and the role of the components of the pressure. Here, in this work, we show an example where the classification of dark energy for isotropic pressure fluids is used incorrectly for anisotropic fluids. The correct classification and its consequences are presented. Electronic address: [email protected] Electronic address: [email protected] Electronic address: [email protected]

Constraints on Generalized Dark Energy from Recent Observations
Effects of a generalized dark energy fluid is investigated on cosmic density fluctuations such as cosmic microwave background. As a general dark energy fluid, we take into consideration the possibility of the anisotropic stress for dark energy, which has not been discussed much in the literature. We comprehensively study its effects on the evolution of density fluctuations along with that of no...
متن کاملOn Anisotropic Dark Energy Stars
Abstract Anisotropic pressure dark energy stars are recently proposed as an alternative model to gravastar. However, the nature’s classification of the fluid was based on the interval of the parameter ω, defined by the state equation that comes directly from the isotropic pressure Friedmann cosmological models. This procedure is not correct. In this work we propose a generalization of the limit...
متن کاملAnisotropic dark energy stars
A model of compact object coupled to inhomogeneous anisotropic dark energy is studied. It is assumed a variable dark energy that suffers a phase transition at a critical density. The anisotropic Λ−Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equations are integrated to know the structure of these objects. The anisotropy is concentrated on a thin shell where the phase transition takes place, while the rest of the...
متن کاملAnisotropic perturbations due to dark energy
A variety of observational tests seem to suggest that the universe is anisotropic. This is incompatible with the standard dogma based on adiabatic, rotationally invariant perturbations. We point out that this is a consequence of the standard decomposition of the stress-energy tensor for the cosmological fluids, and that rotational invariance need not be assumed, if there is elastic rigidity in ...
متن کاملMeasurements of anisotropic scintillation efficiency for carbon recoils in a stilbene crystal for dark matter detection
It is known that scintillation efficiency of organic single crystals depends on the direction of nuclear recoils relative to crystallographic axes. This property could be applied to the directional WIMP dark matter detector. The scintillation efficiency of carbon recoils in a stilbene crystal was measured for recoil energies of 30 keV to 1 MeV using neutrons from Li(p,n)Be and Cf. Anisotropic r...
